Free WiFi access is available in the main reception area. I was looking for a place that is between Swakopmund, Sossuvlei from Windhoek. This place is statically located in the middle. So I went to Soss one day and upon checking out I saved over an hour to drive to Swakopmund. Value for money, the room was spacious with rooftop, you can tan & watch stars later at night. Stunning Mountain View from the lodge and the restaurant . Staff were very welcoming and kind, they made me feel like home. Food was amazing! Chef was generous. Most importantly booked a private tour to the dunes, the guild Silva and the driver were amazing! They were very helpful and knowledgeable, Silva walked with me from the parking to the top of the Big Daddy dune, he knew how to take awesome pictures and videos too. The tour was included park fees as well.

Desert Camp’s units have a private entrance and a kitchenette with an electric kettle and a refrigerator. All rooms are decorated with the colours of the Namib Desert and have power points for hairdryers and shavers. Amazing!!! The room was beautiful and had amazing views, just like the pictures. The pool was really nice. Really close to the gate of Sossusvlei. Breakfast and dinner were in the “main hotel” wich was 5 minutes away by car, super close (didn’t make a difference) - it’s also in that hotel that you book your activities, I recommend their sundowner and the hot air balloon drive (quite pricey but so worth it, amazing experience and best breakfast I’ve ever had!! Book in advance. Suggestion: if you do the tour and they ask in the end if you want to visit the school that they sponsor go!)

From the moment he picked us up, he made sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. He thought about our itinerary of activities, our meals, accommodates changes in our schedule and even liaised with the kitchen on providing lunch bags for our journey back. Wolwedans and the NamibRand Nature Reserve in general is an experience of a lifetime. The nature, the values of Wolwedans to the food, the night sky, the knowledge of each staff member. We even received a sweet letter and sparkling wine as it was our honeymoon. This place is a 10/10

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The staff were incedibly friendly and attentive. I didn't have to lift a finger the entire time. The horseback sundowner ride and Sossusvlei excursion were both incredible and both my guides were so knowledgeable and helpful!
