We rented an apartment and it was so affordable and so comfortable and nice for what we paid! The busses to the main marked run right outside the place, so very easy to get to and from. It was a 20 minute drive to masaya volcano.

Paradiso Laguna is a true gem, located right on the beautiful Laguna. The water is slightly warm and incredibly inviting—perfect for relaxing swims. The food here blew me away. I had one of the best fish meals in the last three months—perfectly grilled and packed with flavor. The kitchen really knows what it's doing. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone is extremely well-trained and attentive, which clearly reflects great management by the owners. It made the stay even more enjoyable. The dorms are comfortable, with a fully functioning AC. Bathrooms are spotless, the toilet is spacious, and the shower is impressively large. Honestly, I can’t get enough of this place. Highly recommend!

The house is amazing, it’s a family house, spacious and you feel like being a friend at someone’s home and not stranger in a hotel!

La Casa de Leo - Hostal, Restaurante y Artesania local ligger i San Juan de Oriente, 1,9 km fra Mirador de Catarina og 14 km fra Volcan Mombacho. Breakfasts made by Yanet were excellent and different each day with fruits, eggs, rice and beans (gallo pinto) and coffee. The core family (Hébert, Yanet and their son Lester) with whom I dealt with everyday are truly genuine people, they have helped me 200% with research on land/houses in that area (my goal when I visited Nicaragua), We had excellent conversations, like I never had in other Latin countries, all in all if you want to understand this amazing country more and you speak Spanish, you will learn a lot. Also, members of the family are master potters, they have a small studio downstairs where you can buy their work and also, very recently, take a ceramics course on site. Don't forget to ask them who is 'Leo'

The prices were so reasonable and the food was wonderful! It was a very tranquil, pleasant atmosphere. The hosts were very accommodating and nice.
