The proximity to the airport is a plus, as well as the complimentary shuttle service - even in the middle of the night. Our spacious room surpirised us positively. Breakfast was good and abundant. We had no problems with any airplane noise.

I’m glad that there was a list of directions on how to work the washing/drying machine and dishwasher. I did some much needed laundry. The studio was spotless and new. It felt like I was staying in my own apartment. It was about a 45 min drive to Mt. Cook, but I enjoyed the drive.

It’s a bit of a walk from the core village of Lake Tekapo, but the assumption is everyone drives to Lake Tekapo so it’s a 2min drive and there is no issue for parking
