Great location at less than 5min walk from the souk, easy to reach the corniche and walk until the Palace. Nice room, well decorated, very clean. Very safe to walk around and take taxi or bus. This is a delightful resort situated deep in Wadi Al Arbeieen. It's a delightful spot to relax, to take walks, go swimming, ride a bike, and other simple entertainments. It's hard to beat just relaxing under the magnificent sidr tree which is a special feature of the terrace area of this resort. The food is simple but tasty and plentiful. The rooms (16 of them in total) are quite small, but very comfortable and adequate with all the most important provisions. The manager, Shihad, runs an excellent business and is sensitive to the issues that are involved in running a hotel close to a small local village and in an environment of outstanding beauty - but this is his home so he is very caring. I strongly recommend a night here and in the cooler months you could also spend a couple of days here if you just wanted to "chill".

Camera foarte curata, cu vedere splendida la mare și munte Micul dejun foarte butan, diversificat pentru toate gusturile La plecare aveam scorul tarziu și echipa Shagri-La ne-au permis sa prelungim șederea cu câteva ore bune.. Set on a clifftop in the city center, Crowne Plaza Muscat features stunning panoramic city & sea views. The view from the hotel is amazing. The pool is great and it was possible to borrow floaters for kids. There is a large number of restaurants, proposing various dishes that were really good. The staff was really nice and helpful
