Akwaba lodge is located at the middle of Isla Solarte about a 10 minute boat ride ($10/person) from Bocas del Toro. It is on a hill overlooking the water and Isla Bastimentos Breakfast is included in your stay. Lunch dinner and beverages are available at a very reasonable price. The lodge is an eco style lodge surrounded by jungle. Though there are no hiking trails through the jungle you are serenaded by the sounds of birds. Kayaks, SUP and snorkeling equipment is available for your use. Your host and their children are wonderful and will do anything to make your stay a pleasant and wonderful experience. Things to know, the lodge is off the grid with good WiFi and does not have AC, but we were comfortable with our open windows and ceiling fan. The lodge accepts credit cards, but tours and water taxis are cash only so bring US dollars. Side trips to Red Frog Beach and Green Acres Chocolate are a must. Pack insect repellent and anti-itch cream.

The location is gorgeous, the cabin was beautifully appointed. We loved everything about the ecolodge. Dinner was always excellent. There were monkeys and red frogs. (We didn’t see the caimans).

Staying at Carmen’s was an absolute highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends into her home. The place is beautifully maintained, with comfortable rooms, a lovely dock, and a lush garden perfect for relaxing. The facilities are excellent, but what truly makes this place special is the warmth and hospitality of Carmen and Marcel. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, always with such kindness and care. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and abundant—a perfect way to start the day. And in the evening, Carmen’s home-cooked dinners were a treat—she prepares the freshest fish of the day, and all the guests gather around the table to share a meal and great conversation. Carmen was incredibly helpful with everything, from tending to a blister on my foot to organizing day trips. This stay was more than just accommodation—it was a truly memorable experience. I can’t recommend it enough!

Pure Roots localiza-se em Bastimentos, a menos de 1 km de Praia de Carenero Noreste e a 2,3 km de Praia de Carenero, e fornece vista do mar e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. We had a wonderful time at this place. You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time.

Coral Wing Casitas situa-se em Bastimentos e oferece acomodações com varanda e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. Location was fabulous. Lots of windows with gorgeous views of wayer. Breakfast delivered to the room. We used the free kayaks. Snorkeling in front of the cabin was great. JJ was a wonderful host.

The Lodge at Punta Rica- Hilltop Eco-Lodge with Views & Pool is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bastimentos where guests can make the most of its pool with a view, private beach area, and... Simplesmente incrível – uma experiência autêntica e memorável! Reserva feita através do Booking – tudo simples e fácil. O lodge fica na ilha de Bastimentos (Bocas del Toro, Panamá) e um dos anfitriões, o Brian, veio buscar-nos de barco à ilha principal, o que facilitou imenso. Foi logo super simpático e acolhedor. O espaço é deslumbrante – no meio da vegetação, totalmente sustentável e “off grid”, com um respeito enorme pela natureza. As instalações estavam impecavelmente limpas, decoradas com muito bom gosto e em perfeita harmonia com a paisagem. Um lugar tranquilo, silencioso e ideal para relaxar e desconectar. E a vista era paradisíaca. Os anfitriões, Brian e Daniel, foram excecionais: prestáveis, simpáticos, atentos, sempre com boas conversas e sugestões sobre o que fazer na zona. Ajudaram sempre a arranjar transportes e mostraram verdadeiro interesse na nossa experiência. E o destaque final: a comida! O Daniel, que foi chef de cozinha, prepara refeições absolutamente incríveis. Sabor, apresentação, tudo perfeito. Demos por nós a dizer “uau” a cada prato. Casita Azul encontra-se em Bastimentos. O alojamento está a 8 minutos a pé de Praia de Carenero Noreste e tem acesso Wi-Fi gratuito em toda a propriedade. The property is as described. Lots of storage space so you can unpack. Great kitchen. They are very attentive to your comfort. We had one of the air conditioners break down when it was determined that is could not be repaired they had it replaced right away. It is only really needed in the evening and night time for comfort and sleeping. During the day open the doors and windows and the breeze is great. A very comfortable home and a great place to unwind.

Gostei de tudo :) Muito bem localizado, vários restaurantes perto. Em cima do mar, com um deck muito agradável para relaxar.

Apresentando vista do mar em The Gap, La Purita Ecolodge apresenta acomodações, uma piscina exterior, um jardim, um terraço, um bar e comodidades de desportos aquáticos. Great view and use of paddle boards were a plus.
