Enai is located in the forest, on the shore of the Madre de Dios River, 15 minutes from the city of Puerto Maldonado. Enai has a restaurant, outdoor pool, bar and garden. We initially planned to stay 2 nights at this hotel then our return flight was cancelled and the team at Enai was extremely helpful in picking us up from the airport and accommodating a new room for us with such short notice. Claudia who helps organize the tours is very flexible and helped us book the tours that were of most interest to us at our preferred timings (canopee walk and lake Sandoval highly recommended) The food is really good which is very important as you are likely to have several meals at the hotel. Room is very spacious and clean. Would recommend booking rooms with AC as it gets quite humid and hot at night.

Staying at the Hacienda Herrera Tambopata was the shining star of our visit to Peru. Everything about it was a delight. The staff, food, surrounding landscape, tour offerings, the room...we loved every minute of our stay.

Kapievi Ecovillage ligger i Puerto Maldonado og har en vegetarisk restaurant. Ejendommen ligger 15 minutters kørsel fra byens centrale torv. Very comfortable stay. Anthony has created a beautiful oasis and the pool/ yoga hut was a fantastic way to help with the heat. Spacious room with air con. Very filling breakfast, friendly staff and hot water available. About a 5-10 min ride away from town centre which is enough to get away from the noise but close enough to duck out for a meal. Wish we had a few more nights!

Refugio Chabelita Hostel ligger i Puerto Maldonado med udsigt til en have. Her er en have, en restaurant og en bar. Der er også gratis wi-fi. The staff were very nice and very helpful. On the day of arrival in the afternoon they took us on a short tour of surroundings where they showed us local plants and the river. We event got to taste the raw cacao beans. They helped us call and order taxi because we don’t speak Spanish and Uber doesn’t work here. They have a small shop with fruits, bread, sweets and salts. Breakfast was excellent. We got avocado every day. With some rice, eggs or tamales. We also got bread and coffee or tea.

Great place to chill for a few days. All rooms are equpipped with fan and AC and private bathroom and fridge. Clean place all over. Theres a bar, a beautiful pool and the host is fantastic and very friendly. Even took us out to buy some food anf other stuff. Helped us with everything. This place wilk make you chill out. Its worth it. There is harldy anything bad we can mention.

CHOMI HOUSE TAMBOPATA ligger i Puerto Maldonado og tilbyder indkvartering med udendørs pool, gratis wi-fi, en have og en terrasse. The stay at Chomi House was a dream come true. Everything and I really mean everything was perfect. We were even picked up by our host from the airport and he took us back with all our luggage. Elmer and his family are very friendly, helpful and we felt a 100% safe and welcome all the time. The house is very clean, comfortable and we loved the hammocks and the pool. The best thing of all, what we discovered later on, are the tours he organises. Very IMPORTANT!!!!! Book the tours at his place since they are perfectly organised and better than similar once in get your guide. We did two tours and we got professional guides who really knew what they do!!!! We regret not having known that from the beginning. Communication was always very smooth and easy. We will definitely return!!

Quirquincho House Lodge ligger i Puerto Maldonado og har udsigt til en have, restaurant, et fælles opholdsområde, snackbar, have og terrasse. The property has two individual bungalows that are very spacious, with high ceilings, good bathroom and fly screens all around the windows. Nicolas is absolutely wonderful, very kind, very friendly and very respectful. He can organise daily tours, they were excellent. The tours were with small groups (less than 8 pax). Nicolas cooked very tasty meals. The property is located away from town, which means you have lovely nature around you, but Nicolas was very helpful in driving us to places we needed. The bungalows had a balcony, wifi and hot showers. The two dogs that live there are truly beautiful, we miss their cuddles already. Nicolas helped us find birds and a sloth nearby. There are squirrel monkeys nearby. The property is located near other resorts if you need a pool or river access. We enjoyed this property for its local community and wildlife, its excellent value for a small business. My only recommendation would be to have a tea/coffee making facilities available all day, and a large shower mat to catch excess water.

I really enjoyed my two-weeks stay at Rosa's house ! :D Rosa and Elvis are beautiful people, very kind and friendly ! Kira and Kuka, the two dogs, are very friendly and affectionate too ^^ It's a peaceful place, surrounded by nature, the perfect location to relax, rest and meditate or going on adventures in the jungle. Rosa's house is at walking distance from the centre of Puerto Maldonado (about 1 hour) but if you don't want to walk, you can take a tuktuk or a mototaxi passing by. I highly recommend this place !

We really enjoyed our stay here, the bungalows were simple but perfect, all you need in nature. It was out of the center but if you are looking for something affordable in nature this is the perfect place.
