The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the kitchen staff did not speak English so well, but the breakfast had plenty on offer but the coffee from the machine was not hot. Options for alternative milk options was on the breakfast bar but no option to have it hot. Cooked eggs are on offer. It is very plain. Pastries are good, variety of breads, meats, cheese and fruit.

Wow what a place to stay. The facility itself is impressive but the views even more impressive. The big challenge is getting there. A bit out of downtown Lamego and not easy to find even using Google maps. Missed the turn off three times - better signage would definitely help. Long winding road to get up to the facility so driving to get there late at night - need to be careful

Instructions from the owners were very precise and in time though we managed all Check-in and communication just remotely. Appartment had all we need for a night.

Before I even arrived they were messaging me asking if they could do anything for me. They booked a taxi to pick me up at a winery and bring me there and also arranged for taxis while I was there. The staff was so nice and the room was spacious. I will be back

Certain rooms feature a seating area where you can relax, and guests are welcome to use the shared lounge. Our stay was absolutely perfect, we enjoyed every minute! We were welcomed with homemade port wine and really good recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The room was very clean and cleaned daily, The air conditioning was working very well and made our stay convenient on really hot days. We enjoyed breakfast and infinity pool, and a jacuzzi in the evening as well. Overall our stay was exceptional and we will definitely recommend this gem of Dou ro valley and will arrange another trip to come back!

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. It features an outdoor pool and an on-site restaurant. It was an authentic quinta experience. The property has nice views of the valley. The dinners and breakfasts were great. Generous food and wine/port, and the family style dinners offered the opportunity to get to know other guests. The weather was poor, so we couldn’t really enjoy the lovely outdoor spaces, but we were compensated with a great fire in the main room before and after dinner.

The facilities were great, enjoyed the spa to the fullest. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Also, breakfast was amazing, even better than what was expected!
