Perfect and very peaceful location between Visby and Fåro. Amazing breakfast with everything you need. The hosts are incredibly warm and kind, who will make you feel at home. Some outside games you can play was a plus. We even got to see a hedgehog at night sneaking around by luck.

The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. For all of Strandakar’s charms and beauty, it is the hosts are the magic that makes this place special and one to return to again. Beautiful boutique hotel in a unique location. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious and generous. The hotel has a pretty courtyard and access to the old church from it. It is nearby the Botanic Gardens and a short walk to the waterfront or into the centre of the town. There is some traffic noise on the tiny cobbled street but ear plugs are provided if needed. It was a really special place to stay.

Unbeatable location in the heart of old town with views to match. Literally every window (and there are many) you look out of has a gorgeous view of the town or old ruins. The apartment is also spacious with multiple beds. The communication was also clear, quick, and friendly. No better value in the town. Can’t recommend this spot enough as the perfect base to explore Visby from.
