We had a lovely stay at Valdivia Homes, the cabin is cozy and clean, the terrace has great views to the jungle and the sea. The WiFi is really good, as well as the hot water in the shower! Joaquim and Rita were very helpful during our stay, they helped us with the airport pick up and with the moto rental.

A dream destination with it's dream accomodation. There isn't one thing that we would of changed. In the most beautiful setting surrounded by nature and with the most beautiful view. We were lucky enough to have the monkeys visit early morning, such an amazing experience. The local beach is only a 5 min walk away and it's lovely and calm to have a nice refreshing dip. The owner Rita was very responsive and helpful with anything we asked. She gave us such great information which was greatly appreciated. Then there's Joaquim, what a man. He looks after the property for Rita. He can arrange anything you need on the island as he has many contacts. One of the tours we took was one of the best experiences we've had as a couple. He brought us papaya and bananas during our stay as well which were delicious. He's such a friendly man as are all of the people on Principe. This island has touched our hearts and our time will never be forgotten. Thank you Kingfisher, we are forever grateful. Dean & Gabriela.

Beautiful. Perfect location just outside of the city, surrounded by lush jungle and a glorious view overlooking the water. A refreshing alternative to the over priced “Luxury” hotels on the island. The cottage was lovely, cozy and clean. Everything we needed to prepare meals and relax in comfort. Rita was always available by WhatsApp to address any concerns. Highly recommend.

Guesthouse Cacau e Café se află în Santo António, la 15 km de Obo National Park, și include un bar și vedere la oraș. Proprietatea pune la dispoziție WiFi gratuit. Central, clean, and easy to find. The manager and staff were very polite and helpful. As a suggestion for breakfast, it would be great to have a small written menu to choose from. Also, offering some local coffee and cacao would add a lovely touch to the experience.

Pequeno Principe se găsește în Bela Vista, la 8 km de Obo National Park, și are o grădină, o terasă, un bar și parcare privată gratuită. The owner was helpful with translation from English to Portuguese.

Casas Salomão se află în Santo António, la 18 km de Obo National Park, și pune la dispoziție o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. I can only say good things about this place. First of all the family is really nice and via whatsapp always reachable. Secondly they organise whatever you need (ride, car, boatrip etc). I didnt to a boatrip so cannot tell much, but organised a car within a few minutes. Of course it is basic but still clean, hot water and the best Wifi I had so far. It is in the middle of nowhere, you either need transport or quite a bit of walking towards Santo Antonio or the beaches. I did it, Beaches are about 2-3h round trip. Santo Antonio about 2h round trip but quite steep. Dinner I eat twice and both times plenty and good and it is afordable. The son even speaks perfect english, which is super rare in STP. The cherry on top airport transfer is free

The location is really special. From the bathroom window I could see hundreds of beautiful birds, the garden is amazing, and I felt welcomed.

This accommodation is perfect for anyone seeking tranquility, privacy, and a deep connection with nature. The house was clean and well-maintained, as was the spacious garden. There was plenty of room, a comfortable bed, and a large terrace ideal for relaxing and observing nature. The beach is just a short walk away, and you’ll have it all to yourself – total privacy. You are surrounded by nature, with the nearest house several hundred meters away, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Due to the location (in the middle of a tropical forest), the road access is a bit rough, but the natural beauty makes up for it. Breakfasts, on the terrace, were accompanied by the sounds of birds and monkeys – truly magical. Just keep in mind that the terrain is not flat, which is to be expected in a forest setting. Marie was a very attentive host and a wonderful cook. And that fruit? A taste you don't know. We ordered local meals, and everything was delicious. We also took advantage of the guided tour. Our guide picked us up from the airport and in the middle of the week took us to Praia Banana and Praia Boi, both stunning beaches in the north of the island. There’s also an option for a boat tour, which we unfortunately didn’t have time for. If you’re looking for a unique place in the heart of nature with a personal touch, this is it. We will definitely come back here.

Residencial Brigada se găsește în Santo António, la 15 km de Obo National Park, și are o grădină, o terasă, un bar și parcare privată gratuită. Super nice little property in the city of Santo António. Carlos’s reception and assistance in arranging a motorcycle was amazing. Breakfast was varied every day with fresh fruit, juices, eggs, bacon was a lovely start to every morning. Carlos arranged a beautiful crab appetizer during the football match and we opted for dinner at the property twice which was delicious and filling both nights. Super grateful! obrigada por tudo!
