Mr Norman and her wife were very friendly and their customer service was superb. We felt like we visited our parents. Kids felt like they were in grand parents’ house. Very decent people. This is a 100yrs old Bungalow, very beautiful and well maintained. The garden is very beautiful.

Huge spacious, spotlessly clean room with incredible views. Absolutely loved the big beds with white crisp sheets. We were very tired and smelly from the hike the Pekoe trail, Shan took such good care of us, did a huge load of smelly washing and provided hot tea on arrival. We were so grateful!! Dinner was fabulous with lots of cold beers. Thank you to Shan, so respectful, interested and interesting. Highly recommended

The service was one of the best we’ve ever experienced. Everyone was extremely attentive and took the utmost care of us. The food is another big topic: it was exceptionally good, so I would highly recommend having lunch and dinner, even when it’s not included in the fare. Lastly, the location and the view were simply stunning. From the hotel itself you can explore the tea plantations without any other tourists (unlike in other tourist hotspots). Moreover, some of the hotel employees may join you on hike and show you some nice trails.

What a lovely stay we had here! The rooms were beautiful and clean, the bungalow looked very nice, breakfasts were great and the owners were sooo kind, polite and always trying to be helpful. We loved it here and definitely recommend this place!

Amazing property set in the hills. We had a view of the sunrise from our bed every morning, it was spectacular. The staff were so welcoming and were able to answer every question, super polite and wanted to make our stay as good as possible. The breakfast was delicious too. It was so relaxing to hang out by the pool.

We had a fantastic stay – this is SUCH a lovely place. The rooms a lovely – sparkling clean, comfortable and the views from the various terraces are astounding. We received a warm welcome from the couple who own and run the place, we loved the relaxed atmosphere and felt very much at home. The owner speaks good English and knows all there is about the area and will help you with your plans. We really loved being here, and in Haputale, which was a lovely, calm alternative to Ella. We recommend this place without hesitation and will come back to stay if we do get the chance – I hope we will 😊

The location was idyllic & the grounds beautiful. The rooms were comfortable & suited our family of 9. It was a good place to relax.The food served was excellent & the staff very helpful & friendly. Would love to return for a longer stay.
