Situated in Arutanga, within 1.6 km of Aitutaki Beach, Paparei Beachfront Bungalows, Aitutaki offers accommodation with air conditioning. Katrina the daughter of the owners was absolutely unbelievable. There was a few technical issues when we arrived and she had them all sorted with a personal visit. She even took us to the shop to get some groceries, beautiful beautiful place to stay immaculate grounds out the front. There’s a swimming hole channel that’s just a few hundred metres up the beach overall could not fault. Across the road there is a fantastic little coffee shop for breakfast and they do lovely Asian food for dinner. Had the best sausage roll ever. Not really recommend this location and property.

Tai Roto Bay offers spacious, authentic accommodation located on its own private beach on the southern tip from Ootu beach. It is a beach front property and safe to swim at all tides. It is difficult to take a photo of an island paradise and do it justice. Tai Roto is a truly amazing place to stay. The staff are like one big family make you feel like you are part of it. The attention to detail with the room presentation and the breakfast served to you room each morning is fit for Kings and Queens which we certainly felt like. Yes the internet is not the best but you would spoil your holiday if you had it. There’s the Koru cafe a short walk up the road if you need access. Enjoy the isolation from the outside world..it’s truly an experience
