Situated within 21 km of Rio Celeste Waterfall and 27 km of Miravalles Volcano, Agutipaca Bungalows offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bagaces. Angie was so welcoming when we arrived. She provided us a tour of the property and pointed out some of the sounds we were hearing and mammals and birds we saw. Rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious with beautiful large bathrooms and walk-in showers. Plus lovely tropical setting to sit on our covered verandas including hammocks!

Casa Buenavista is located in Carrillo, 300 meters from the beach. It offers air-conditioned rooms in a tropical garden. We had a wonderful time at Buenavista, the complex is designed with great attention to detail and the host family is very professional. Thank you very much and all the best!

With garden views, Mundo Milo Eco Lodge is located in Playa Junquillal and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. It was beautiful! From the first step on the property through the trees, winding down the path to your cabana is so relaxing. We stayed in the Oriental suite with an outdoor kitchen… Awesome.

Featuring garden views, Aura Bungalow offers accommodation with a garden, around 3 km from Tamarindo Beach. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. It’s super easy to rent a bike in Tamarindo, and they help you discover everything the area has to offer. The staff is awesome — they connected me with great activities like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, surfing lessons, and I even went spearfishing with Emanuel. Thanks to them, I really got to experience the local vibe! With the bike, I was also able to explore everything around Tamarindo on my own, which made the experience even better. If you stay at the Bungalow, you definitely won’t get bored, and you’ll take amazing memories back home. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it. Plus, waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys is a unique bonus!

Set in Tamarindo in the Guanacaste region, Aura Bungalow 2 offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property has garden views. Guests can make use of a terrace. Great place if you want to be close to Tamarindo but enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Very comfortable, and host was exceptionally friendly and helpful :) Perfect spot if you are bringing dog.

Located directly on the sands of Tamarindo Beach, Ocho Artisan Bungalows on the right-hand side of Starbucks on the beach. The property was well maintained and a true Authentic getaway. We truly felt Costa Rica surrounded us here. The location was perfect and beach front. The food was outstanding and fresh. We tried a few other places to eat in town and couldn’t find anything better than Ocho. The staff make you feel comfortable and cared for. They were right there for all our needs and more assuring our stay in Costa Rica was second to none. Thank goodness for air conditioning. The Bungalow was top notch and beautiful. We stayed in both 8 and 9. Only suggestion is to have hooks in the bathroom for towels and wet clothing and more space for clothing in bungalow 8. If you are looking for an experience of a lifetime Ocho Bungalows will not disappoint! Very romantic and exotic! We loved our pool time as well, massages on the beach, beach bar hopping, our private sailing afternoon, spa day, I could go on and on! Thank you to all!

Bahia Esmeralda Boutique Hotel & Villas is 200 metres from the beach in Potrero, in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste region. The property was spacious, lovely lush landscaping and large outdoor eating area.

Located along the beach, Hotel Playa Negra offers an outdoor pool and spacious beachfront restaurant and bar. Free WiFi is offered. The staff was amazing and very helpful! The place was excellent, very clean and insanely beautiful!! I would also want ti point out that the best part of my stay was the cat Tequila! She is amazing, very good, caring cat and the hotel takes very good care of her, thank you for that!!
