To come back to Satta Lodge after a busy day or exhausting trips was always a pleasure and we loved every minute there. What a stunning experience!

The casitas are wonderful! They aren't too big but neither too small, for us two it was just enough space. The location is great! Away from the road (noise) yet not too far. And they are in a beautiful tropical garden!! (Even monkeys and sloths visited the trees over and around the casitas:) The beach (playa negra) is very close and beautiful. The "city" of puerto viejo is about a 10 -20 minutes walk and you can even do the walk along the playa negra. The hosts Gane and Vittorio are very very friendly and help with everything!

These Puerto Viejo El Nido Jungle Lodge bungalows are 200 metres from the Playa Chiquita and include access to an outdoor pool and free WiFi. Gandoca Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge is 5.3 km... The property was beautiful and nicely laid out. Loved the many animals, agouti, monkeys, roosters and birds. Loved waking up to the howler monkeys every morning. Great little pool that my granddaughter and I spent hours in. Ocean and beautiful beach just a short 4 minute walk away which we also throughly enjoyed. Yummy breakfast served on our porch every morning. Staff all amazing, friendly and helpful. Wonderful Italian restaurant on premises, one night we ate there and the next night we picked up and enjoyed in our bungalow. Lots of great restaurants in the area as well. Lots of great things to do in the area. We went to Caribean’s Chocolate Tour and it was amazing and we learned so much and got to sample lots of yummy chocolate.

The sleek, modern design and outdoor living space were unique to this property. We loved the kitchen, and the bathroom made us feel like we were showering in the rainforest! Beautiful!

This allowed us to see howler monkeys from our room. At the terrain we also spotted a sloth nearby and a green spotted poison dart frog.
