We loved everything about our time in the cottage! And we look forward to returning one day! :) The location is fabulous, serene with lots of walks nearby, including the GR50. We were delighted to explore every morning, returning with chestnuts to roast in the fireplace. The village nearby is true to the habits and culture of this region, where cattle and farming are most life defining. The cottage is well equipped, the bedrooms are beautiful and comfortable to sleep in. The porch is an amazing place to hangout with a cup of tea. We are very grateful for the time we spent there. Gitte is a very caring host and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and the place was always nice and warm for us. Thank you! We will be back!

Casa da Terra - Gerês ligger i Geres, 19 minutters gang fra Canicada-søen og 3,9 km fra Santuário de São Bento da Porta Aberta. Her er vandsportsfaciliteter og aircondition. We stayed during winter, and they turned the heater on in every room before we arrived, so everything was warm and cozy when we got there. The beds, couch, and chairs were super comfortable, and they even provided wood so we could light the fireplace. On top of all that, the views were amazing! Such a welcoming place — we’d absolutely stay again.
