Located in the green mountain area of Gerês, HI Geres - Pousada de Juventude do Gerês is 5.4 km from the Homem River and the Vilarinho das Furnas Dam. The place is wonderful. Great localisation, but also kind and helpful personell, clean and nice rooms, usefull common space. And even breakfast in the price.

We stayed during winter, and they turned the heater on in every room before we arrived, so everything was warm and cozy when we got there. The beds, couch, and chairs were super comfortable, and they even provided wood so we could light the fireplace. On top of all that, the views were amazing! Such a welcoming place — we’d absolutely stay again.
