If you want move away from the crowded and touristy places, like Krabi and Phuket - this island is one of the best choices: clean and empty beaches, friendly locals, great small bars and kitchens with lots of smiles. Highly recommended to visit Koh Yao Yai island and when visiting - the best place to stay is Koh Yao Yao village

Hmmm, where can I start? - Location: A bit far from "downtown", but you can always rent a motorbike, which they do rent them out for 250 baht/day, and drive around discovering the island. I think that's the best part! - The breakfast: Delicious and thoughtful. The host asked for the time you wanted to bf and served it every day at that exact time. I love the mango sticky rice and fresh fruits! - The room: Beautiful facilities, comfy big bed, spacious bathroom and AC available! How amazing! - The host: Friendly, helpful and very thoughtful. They also offer to pick you up and drop off at the Pier.

She is like a bottle of liquid sunshine. I am from Montana and love simple cabins. These bungalows are jungle cabins with beautiful open windows and everything you need including mosquito net. Didn’t really see many of those thi.

Beautiful location, clean facilities, excellent breakfast. The family that runs this place really make it and they’ll get you anything you need! We rented a scooter from them, used their laundry service, booked a 5 islands tour, and he even dropped us off at our next hotel, which we only booked because Suntisook had no more vacancy!

This resort is amazing! The location is great as it’s a bit tucked away, it’s quiet, and very peaceful. The hosts are so kind and helpful, and you can tell that they are proud of the resort and want you to enjoy it. Bonus was their cute dogs!

The neighborhood is so quiet, you only hear crickets around. Location for us was perfect, 10 min ride to the beautiful Coconut beach. The owner Agnès was always online, she was ready to help with anything, such a sweet and passionate lady! She even prepared a gift for our daughter’s birthday! It’s one of the best properties we ever had to rent in Thailand. Highly recommend when staying in Khao Lak. We would never choose outdated resorts for such villa, you literally don’t wanna leave!

Fantastic hospitality of the personal. Got to check in early and there were free coffee and toast everyday. Beautiful newly build bungalow. Close by motorbike to stores, restaurants and beaches.
