Staff are very helpful and kind. Good breakfast and a decent kitchen. Nice common areas and a good vibe. Hostel is kept clean and tidy. Nice hot showers too!

The staff were extremely helpful. We don’t speak Portuguese but they helped via translation apps to make sure we had everything we needed. The two tours they recommended and booked for us were fantastic. The hotel down the road where breakfast is served (and you could have a beer and watch the sunset) had a great view of the river.

This accommodation is one of the best places I have ever stayed. It is directly on the river, and you have beautiful sunsets that you can enjoy while making a barbecue. Guilherme the host is superb and always helping if they are question or any problems arise. The breakfast is extremely good with a lot of options and they bring it to you whenever you like. I would have loved to stay even longer here. Thank you

Everything was great. Nice breakfast in front of the river, hammocks... a very relaxing time. The staff was great. Gildo was always willing to help, giving tips on things to do, restaurants to go to, arranging the transfers with them... Lovely place!

Great location - not far from the old town. Owner is lovely and helpful, really gets to know the guests. The common areas are small but cozy, with hammocks etc. The price is really affordable. Free breakfast in the morning. There’s a communal kitchen.

Amazing. Faultless stay. This was my favourite place I've stayed in Brazil. The staff were great, especially Luciano, who helped me out with a tour to the Lençóis Maranhenses. The outdoor part by the river was really special, it was great to eat breakfast out there, or just read a book in the hammock. I had to take a work call and the internet is very fast too.

The Lady who runs the hostel is very helpful when it comes to tours, transfers and contact details you might need. The room is super clean, bed comfortable and even a hot shower is available.

The Pousada is really lovely. The owner, Peter, and his staff are very welcoming. The shared spaces such as the breakfast area and hammocks are awesome.
