The unique igloo-like structures provided a truly one-of-a-kind stay, boasting incredible views of rice paddies and the lush jungle. My igloo was situated over a small waterfall, and the soothing sound of rushing water created a calming ambiance, perfect for a restful night's sleep (it was silent, no noise from dogs or other animals). The delicious homemade breakfast served each morning was an added delight, fueling my adventures for the day. Wifi worked well. The manager, Sami, went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. His attentive and generous nature made me feel right at home. Sami personally guided me on a hike to visit neighboring waterfalls, providing a truly immersive and authentic local experience I could not have had on my own. If you're seeking an adventure that blends luxury with a connection to nature and local culture, I cannot recommend this exceptional place highly enough!

There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Breakfast was very good. Dinner could have been better especially for New Years Eve. Something new not what is on the restaurant menu. Staff is lovely and attentive. We loved the dog bed and doggie bowls.

Guests enjoy daily afternoon tea and scheduled shuttle to Ubud centre. Our stay at Sandat was a truly memorable experience. The buildings and setting were wonderful : among lush green forest and beautifully tended gardens. It was so easy to get into Ubud with the free shuttle bus and such a pleasure to come back to the peace and quiet. Our room was one of the “rice barns “ The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and loved having a lower sitting room with a view of the pool. Gorgeous furnishings again and the fresh flowers were a lovely touch. The dining hall was amazing ; like a bamboo cathedral ! Dinner and drinks were excellent, as was the service at all times : the staff were super attentive, polite and courteous. Loved all the linen sofas and chairs , lime washed candles ; and the tablescaping was to die for : beautiful crockery , napkins and cutlery. Afternoon tea served on pretty china with home made biscuits was a real treat. A really special stay , made even more wonderful by the kind , friendly and considerate staff . Thank you !

There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hairdryer. We stayed in the Squid House, and honestly we did not expect how beautiful or lovely the experience would be. Every little detail catered for. The staff (Komang especially), were so attentive and catered to everything. Koli koli, the attached restaurant was great with a cool chilled out vibe and nice menu. If we are over in Bali again we will definitely be staying again.

Still plenty around to see and do and eat! And the views of the mountains were spectacular. Great value for money.
