Set among the red dunes of Wadi Rum, Hasan Zawaideh Camp offers private and shared Bedouin-style tents and an excellent location to explore the Jordanian Desert. Camps were clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, helpful and welcoming.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The night sky view and the sunrise view from our tent were amazing. As for the activities, we took a 2-hour safari for the sunset, and it was beautiful. Additionally, the stargazing activity at night was also a very impressive experience for us. We would like to thank our guides and the hotel owners — everything was wonderful.

Eid and Motaz were excellent hosts and tour guides. We were greeted by Eid at the car park and then driven to the camp which is 4 bubble tents all with air con and ensuite. The food was excellent (and cooked in the ground) and the star gazing was fantastic with no light pollution. We also did the jeep tour to both the north and south areas which was stunning and a lot of fun.

The tent was clean, comfortable beds, amazing views from the tend and the surrounding was calm and breathtaking. But what made the stay so special for us was the unbelievable hospitality of Ahmad and his family. He treated us like family and we will recommend Wadi Rum Star Camp to all of our friends and family. It’s family-run, and the hosts are incredibly kind and helpful making the entire stay feel warm and welcoming. They arranged transport from Petra, which was a huge plus. The camp is located near the iconic Star Wars filming site, just a 20-minute round-trip walk away. Dinner was a real highlight, cooked underground in the traditional Bedouin style for three hours. They even walk you through the entire process, which was both fascinating and delicious. At night, the stargazing was incredible. With a stargazing app, we were able to spot Virgo and Scorpio constellations clearly. I felt very safe at the camp and slept well my room had a fan which made the stay comfortable. Breakfast was a traditional Arabic spread, fresh and tasty, with enough variety to make a full meal. Overall, it was an unforgettable and culturally rich experience.
