Naoshima
Situated 600 metres from Naoshima Pavillion, sana mane offers a private beach area, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. The property has sea and mountain views, and is less than 1 km from Sumiyoshi-taisha Temple. This 4-star luxury tent offers private entrance. We did not eat any of the food at the accommodation so I can't speak of that, but the tents, sauna, and location are oh so glorious. The tents felt very luxurious and spacious, with ours in particular looking out towards the trees and the nearby beach. The sauna felt amazing and taking a dip into the ocean was truly a luxury. Chichu museum and Miyanoura port are very much within walking distance and glamping in between them made things very easy. Also, we were not expecting the bathrooms to be as nice as they are! Definitely a bonus.

Everything was wonderful. Location - we saw sunset on the water just minutes walk from the property. Peaceful and quiet. The hosts were so friendly and helpful - dropped us off at and picked us up. Food left for us in the apartment for snacks and breakfast. Its a beautiful place with all amenities which is right in the heart of the Art Project. We only wish we had stayed longer!

Amazing view, well decorated, clean and comfortable sleep, and friendly hosts. Lovely beach with hammocks to chill. 30 min walk to Movie village. Bus timings are infrequent but it was okay with some planning. Host is friendly to help and advise!

It was good to have a beer while listening to music on the veranda at night. Kawaramachi Station and Takamatsu Airport were two minutes away from the limousine stop, so it was very convenient.

Absolutely fantastic and new accommodation with a terrace and amazing view. Beautiful sunset and sunrise on the beach. Right next to Shodoshima Olive Garden. Everything is brand new and the place is fully equipped including kitchen with induction hob, rice cooker, microwave etc. Washing machine available. Very kind host, easy check in instructions. Supermarket about a 20 min bus away.

We had the traditional cottage and it was great. Very Japanese but with a western style bath outside looking ver the bay to the sunset. The other accom was very modern and nice. A short walk up a steep hill from the Ferry.

The owner was a delight. She picked us up from the ferry and took us to the accomodation. Really lovely person! As for the room, had everything you need and it was so special to use the terrace and watch the sunset over the water. Bliss. Also loved the added touch of providing toast every morning. Very thoughtful.

Amazing location with beautiful sea views from the room and communal terrace! Also a great little beach space with hammocks where you can relax, swim and watch the sunset. The hosts are friendly and always available for help, tips and to make you a simple breakfast. It is useful to have a car to visit the island or go to a restaurant at night.
