Grounds are magnificent with plenty of activities at the hotel and close proximity to amazing safaris. Rolling hills with the stunning Mount Kenya in the background combined with roaming wildlife and activities make the hotel worth staying at for at least part of the trip rather than spending all day at safaris.
Good and reasonably priced acomodation with waterhole in front of most tents, good restaurant, swimming pool. Very good point to start self drive safaris in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, however we found western areas 7 - 10 km behind the bridge, along the river the most interesting.
it’s so serene, what a wonderful time I had. Fav part was sitting outside my tent, having my coffee, while watching rhinos have a mud bath in the wild - across our tents. we even saw elephants!
