Small (3 tents, one of which is a large family tent), intimate, charming camp, unfenced, ideally located, in the north conservancy, just 5 minutes from the Maasai Mara’s Musiara gate entrance, 15 minutes from the air strip. Completely local ownership and management, which we highly value and one of the reasons we chose this, together with the location and the small size. We had tent 3, high on stilts, large, private, wooden floors, huge netted windows, outside deck all around, unobstructed views on the savannah. Big comfortable bed with good mattress, en-suite bathroom with toilet and huge shower, running water. Electricity and hot water are solar - electricity is around the clock, so maybe the camp tops it up at night with a generator, but we never heard one. Large, charming traditional mess tent, with bar area, and extra lounge, wonderful outdoor deck with fire pit, small plunge pool with deck chairs. Food was excellent, they will apparently cater to dietary needs but have a fixed menu. Most meals in the mess tent, some scenically set in the bush. All drinks were included as was daily laundry. Highly knowledgeable and dedicated guides (William the owner, and Alex), game drives were mostly inside the park and arranged as and when we wished, with picnic breakfast and/or lunch, or not, as we wished. Park fees were included which made the offer we got superb value for money. We had been on safari several times almost 4 decades ago when luxury safaris were mobile or semi-permanent tented camps, small, unfenced, only with simple drop toilets and hot bucket showers, communication only via radio, bush cooking, communal mess tent and fire pit… but with an abundance of local staff delivering perfect, exclusive service. That’s the feeling we were looking for again and this is the closest we found on our trip to Kenya: very similar traditional, exclusive safari feeling , experience and charm, with great service, modern comforts, but no excesses and low imprint.

Providing garden views, Entumoto Main Camp in Ololaimutiek offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. I dont know where to start, staff is amazing, place is amazing, locationc is perfect, ask for Alex as your guide he is the best we've ever seen mad your experience 100 times better and knew each and every tree in the jungle,this place is situated in the jungle not the sahra, so your experience with the conservatory is different and you are literally right with the animals and gives you a full on experience with the wild. We saw all the animals in our 5 days stay. The food they serve is one of the best ever, fresh, and wonderful, everyday something new.

Perched on the hills of the private and secluded Megwarra escarpment lies Entumoto Safari Camp. The camp offers panoramic views over the Mara plains and features an outdoor pool, restaurant and bar. From the moment we stepped off the jeep and onto the conservancy, we were greeted with impeccable service! Purity, David, Nixon—just to name a few—went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. We enjoyed a variety of activities organized by the team, including hiking with a local guide, a stunning sundowner safari, as well as running and biking through the conservancy. The food was absolutely phenomenal, with delicious three-course meals for both lunch and dinner, and thoughtful accommodations for vegetarians. The tents were spacious and exceeded our expectations with private balconies and bathrooms…having the hot water bottles nestled in the our after arriving from dinner was an unbelievable nice touch! We wholeheartedly recommend this camp—it was an unforgettable experience!

We want to thanks the all team from the bottom of our heart. They made this trip to Kenya higher than we expected. The masai people and culture is wonderful. As Martine told us from day one “from now on you’re part of the family” and this how we felt. Even our 6 and 7 yo enjoyed their time there, they even asked them to continue the trip together. We did the bush walk, visiting the school, making fire, creating bracelets, arrow… so many experiences. The food was also very good - much higher than what we expected. The view is breathtaking and the camp is well-maintain and clean. We also did the safari day tour in Masai Mara with Edwardo - who was more than amazing as I lost my phone during this trip and he was able to recover it after a few days and sent it back from me to Nairobi (a miracle - thanks to him!). Guys just to let you know that we miss you so much! (Martine kids are drawing you as a reminder of our time with you).

Nestled on the banks of the Ntiakitiak River, Olare Mara Kempinski is located in Masai Mara and boasts panoramic views of the savannah and game species. The game drives were exceptional, with the comfort of the car significantly enhancing the experience. Additionally, the driver exhibited superb knowledge, explaining everything thoroughly.

The Fig Tree Camp – Maasai Mara is located amidst the Maasai Mara National Park, on the banks of the Talek River. It features accommodation with private bathrooms, a swimming pool, and a restaurant. Our stay was absolutely exceptional. The staff were incredibly kind, genuinely welcoming, and very knowledgeable in what they were doing. The atmosphere throughout the lodge was warm, relaxed, and inviting. The location was perfect, right by the river where we could clearly see hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. The tent (both the bedroom and bathroom!) was beautifully appointed: spacious and luxurious. The food was great as well, all breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Without a doubt, this was the best lodge we’ve stayed at during our travels across Africa, and we’ve visited many! We would gladly return to the Masai Mara just to experience this place again.

This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.

It's an excellent place in the heart of safari. The staff was very helping. The food was good. The tent cottage was very spacious and spotless clean.
