Located on the border of Wilpattu National Park, Big Game - Wilpattu by Eco Team offers spacious tents with an attached partitioned bathroom. Surrounded by wildlife and nature, the camp-site is 7 km from the park’s entrance and just 500 metres from the park's boundary. So wonderfull place! It was a great expirience to stay at the Big Game Safari camp. The people are so friendly and kind and the candle light diner is so good and like A fairytale. We love Everything about it and had also A beautifull Safari day. Book A hole day Safari instead of A half day is my advice

Well priced, clean, spacious and nice veranda seating. Convenient for national park and they arranged a well priced safari for us.
Anta and his staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed chatting to Anta as he is very knowledgeable about all wildlife. He organised a safari for us with a great guide who was very passionate about the animals. Safari park is very close to the property. The binoculars and books were a great addition to our stay. All in all a fabulous stay at Wildhideaway. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Anta and team.
It was really fun and lovely to be staying in a treehouse and being able to listen to and see the wildlife from our balcony. The hotel was also located right next to the national park which was very convenient. The food was also very tasty and the bed had a good mosquito net.
The evening dinner was a great experience under the stars with excellent waiters serving a nice dinner . Seeing the Wildlife on safari was a great experience and the wide range of birds , butterflies and some rare animals like the Loris. We also enjoyed the traditional cookery demonstration. Camping was much more comfortable than usual and we didn’t have any issues with mosquitoes. Organisation was great and catered well for vegans in our family.
The location was perfect. Wildlife surrounds you. We seen most the wildlife from our balcony, we didn’t really need a ticket to the safari haha
A good location close to park entrance. Anton was a charming, knowledgeable host, with excellent english. A keen wildlife photographer. Breakfast and evening meals were very good, and safari breakfast and lunch plentiful and tasty. The safari, organised by Anton, was excellent, especially birdlife and leopard sighting. Binoculars and wildlife books were available to use. The whole stay was very enjoyable.
Wildlife experience! Safari was fantastic! Food was good and service is excellent.
Welcoming staff with a real interest in wildlife. Safari arranged from here was very good. Food was good too.
We had me of the best sleeps there during our whole stay in Sri Lanka! They have really comfy glamping tents and huge outdoor bathrooms. The safari was THE BEST and one of the biologists who runs the lodge accompanied us and told us so much about the wildlife.
