We were a family of 5 and I am so happy we discovered and chose Tribe Yala. It was a privilege to be here and make some wonderful memories. Located right in the middle of nature, when you arrive here there is no where to go and you would not want to it's straight out of a movie. The deluxe tent with plunge pool and roof terrace was amazing and accommodated the 5 of us without tripping over each other just fine. Dinner was lovely, breakfast was outstanding and was served on our tree top terrace which could not have been nicer and the effort was really appreciated, offered and not expected. Served after our super safari organized by Tribe with snack box, respectful driver and ranger. The staff were magnificent. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I would not hesitate to come back. This is where memories are made!

Thankyou for the most wonderful stay at Yala Wild Hut. The location is so beautifully isolated and you have a real sense of being in nature … the stars at night were incredible. The team at Wild Hut were fantastic: understated unobtrusive exceptionally attentive.. Isuru was a wonder : full of knowledge about the environment and taught us the importance of “ knowing what you’re looking for “ when spotting wild life in the park. We felt safe and looked out forat all times whilst also feeling free to explore this incredible place for ourselves. Sunset on the rock playing cards drinking tea and listening to the wildlife will be a cherished memory forever . Thankyiu Yala Wild Hut and especially Isuru the lucky for a truly magical stay J🙏🏽 the food was great especially the lunchtime curry and the bbq too , and communication pre and during stay was excellent, and very helpful with arranging transport .

The house you get to stay in is simply incredible, secluded and gives an absolute Safari feeling! It is very big and the bathroom is great. We've had the most amazing hosts that were incredibly attentive and supportive. For a little extra, you can book a BBQ including a bonfire under the stars, which we can highly recommend! The food and service was outstanding. Something i am so thankful for - they will contact you already before your travel and during our texts to arrange everything I mentioned that it was my best friends birthday. They were so kind and offered to have a cake ready for her with her name on it for her special day.. Thank you so much for the effort! We really appreciate that. Lastly, the Safari was amazing! We drove with Indika and he was the perfect Safari guide. He stopped for us whenever possible, tried to make sure we see the most animals and explained everything in detail to us. We can only recommend taking a tour with him! If you plan on doing a Safari in Yala and want to experience a Safari like housing - this is the place to do so! Highly recommend and we'd definitely would come back. Lastly, if you plan on doing a Safari, we suggest to do the full day one :)

The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, and the guided safari was well-organized, allowing us to see leopards, elephants, and more. The food was delicious, with local flavors that enhanced the experience. Highly recommend for a unique and unforgettable adventure!

Our family recently visited Makini Bush Camp and we had an amazing time. The staff's kindness and helpfulness made our stay truly special. We were thrilled to witness incredible wildlife sightings, including graceful elephants, playful monkeys, and colorful birds. And the highlight of our trip was a breathtaking leopard sighting that left us in awe. The service provided was exceptional, and the staff went out of their way to engage our children. The cozy tented chalet allowed us to connect with nature while enjoying the comforts of a clean and well-maintained accommodation. We recommend Makini for families seeking a remarkable safari adventure with top-notch service and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Yala Lake View Cabanas is situated near the Yodha Lake. Located in Tissamaharama, it's takes a 15 minute drive to Yala National Park and 20 minutes drive to Kataragama and Kirinda Beach. Loved the surrounding and peaceful environment with birds ,exceptional cabanas ..magical place Special mention to Sampath the care taker was extremely nice and did a wonderful evening setting for us for drinks and dinner on his own accord
