The location was great. The room was spacious. We got room on the first floor and the morning, sunset view was amazing.

Beautiful house to accomodate 7 of us. Great Lake view for those who love sunrise and sunset. Close to city centre.

Tony is such a lovely host. I had a lovely room with balcony and a mineral spa! Great to sit on the balcony and catch the lake views and amazing sunset. Mineral spa is such a bonus to soak away your tiredness from travel. The room was super clean and every facility was great. Right across from lake Taupo meant that lakeside walks and to the center was very handy. Thank you Tony!

Nice location, could see lake from our room, cute verandah, nice spa bath, comfortable bed, lovely pillows ☺️

It was like staying in a deserted Western town.

Super comfy bed and bedding. Fantastic bread and heaps of brekky supplies. Great hot shower. Absolutely everything you could want in the room. Lyn and Allen were lovely, even launching a 'search party' when we were late arriving home - Allen found us safe, at the Tavern :) Hot tub is a very attractive bonus we made good use of.

Location was great , easy walking distance into the town,bus stop also very close for those who want to visit various parts of taupo, close to supermarkets and restaurants etc. Very near lake taupo for beautiful waliking outdoors. Owner is lovely host, very helpful, I would very happy to stay again. Great hot shower and warm heating

The view was great, quiet location. Had lots of lovely wildlife including 3 deer, quails & rabbits visit us. The beds were comfortable.
