It was tranquil and even though part of Helen’s property it was totally separate. Loads of room inside and lovely outdoor verandah with the afternoon sun beaming in.

Nice clean and spacious room. Great location to lake front and township. We enjoyed an amazing Hike up the Keplar, and it was so nice to come back and enjoy the hot showers and cozy room.

We absolutely loved every aspect of our stay. It is a few minutes out of town and set on a property which overlooks a pond that gave us a beautiful reflection of the sunset. We were greeted by a burning fire, a cheery decor, fresh flowers, breakfast items and a coffee pod machine. We highly recommend this property for your stay in Te Anau

Jeff and Jan were superb hosts. We loved the attention to detail and quality that they put into their place. They obviously love it very much and that shows! We especially enjoyed sitting on the veranda, taking in the stunning views, enjoying the tea and cake, and the great company of Jeff (and Eddie and Frankie the dog and cat!) 10/10 would recommend! Phil was a good and attentive host. Offered suggestions for our stay and thanks for recommendation for ´Thé Wee Bookshop’ in Manapouri - for all book lovers this must be a highlight! The location of Loch Vista was second to none and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset from outside our room was perfect. Simple but lovely, fresh breakfast too. Lovely touch of apple and chocolate in our room on arrival

This property was exceptional! From the location, wildlife and extra homely touches we enjoyed every minute and would highly recommend it. The location provides a secluded back to nature feeling and we enjoyed watching the NZ birds feed, was so special. The cottage was so relaxing and warm, bed comfortable and lovely touches like milk, coffee, tea and oil. John the owner came out to welcome us which was so good of him and always knew he was there if we needed anything.

Good location, nice staff. Good kitchen and common facilities. Hot shower with good pressure.
