Stars Gate Camp is a recently renovated luxury tent in Al Wāşil, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. Excellent location, on the top of a dune in the middle of the desert. Fantastic 360 degree view. 15 rooms, outside pool very nice, very good half board plan. Rooms are excellent equipped, with terrace overlooking the desert (the fact that you do not have TV it is rather an advantage). WiFi works very well. The manager (Mr Gautam Balram) is very friendly and helpful. From the activities, we would recommend "night safari and star watching" (ask for Faisal as your guide). Difficult to get there with your own car (do not attempt if you do not have a real 4 motion car and you are not an experienced driver). Aim for the sister camp (Arabian Oryx Camp), and ask the reception there to guide you for the last km, since google maps are not accurate. Parking is free. We would recommend to spend at least two nights there. One night it is not enough.

Everything was very well organized from the beginning, the food was delicious and the tents are beautiful. You have all the comfort you need and even more, with a private bathroom. We also recommend the dune bashing!

The location is perfect, breakfast and dinner very fine, this camp gives you the feeling to really visit the desert, while making sure that you have everything you need. Very clean tent, shower and toilet, excellent bed, all perfect. If one wants to experience desert in a very safe and still authentic way, do not book a chalet with pool, book a quality very large tent from a local person, Ali, who grow up himself, with his camels, in the desert, only 2 km away.

A recently renovated luxury tent in Bidiyah, Desert Diamond Private Camp offers outdoor fireplace, private parking and sports facilities. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. The luxury tent features mountain views, a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. The stay at Desert Diamond Camp was excellent! Sultan picked us up from the meet point and took us to the camp and we were welcomed with a campfire and fresh tea and coffee! The tents were vary spacious, clean and cosy, and the bathroom facilities clean. The next morning we walked to the sand dunes and the children did sand boarding. Sultan especially and the camp staff ensured our stay was comfortable and we highly enjoyed our stay in the desert!

Located further away from other camps, so it's quiet and you can enjoy the dunes in private. Most important - Rashid and his team does everything to make his guests comfortable. We loved our 1-night stay so much that I’m absolutely sure we’ll return for a longer one in the future! The tent was very clean, large and comfortable! Food was the best we had in the whole trip and the surrounding area very beautiful. Bader was such a great host, answering all of our questions and telling about the local traditions and way of life. The best part was the campfire at night after dinner with singing. Absolutely amazing!! The whole experience was magnificent! We also stayed in another camp that was significantly more expensive and I must say that Arab Desert Camp was by far the better option.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. It was a wonderful stay! The weather allowed us to sleep outside looking at the stars ,which was amazing. Food was great and everyone was very hospitable. Everything was prepared for our comfort . The location is great,we saw goats and camels walking in the desert and enjoyed silence and peace.
