The staff go above and beyond. You are treated as a guest and cared for, Far better than any larger hotel or resort ever has or will. If you book your tours with Tanoshi staff you will not only find it cheaper or same price as in town, but you will also have the convenience of not organising taxis. And the staff will provide you with anything you may need (torch, bag, ect). The provided breakfasts are carefully crafted with love, way better than the resort hotels, the drinks are superb, and the hotpot dinner was an experience on its own! I cannot recommend Tanoshi enough it was the highlight of our trip to Thailand and we look forward to coming back.

The manager It really went an extra mile to make my stay absolutely amazing, from the pick up at the pier to the scooter rental and experience tour organisation. Also the location has been perfect completely immersed in the forest made my stay magical and unforgettable. The accomodation a little gem.

We’ve just left and loved absolutely everything. As the pictures show, you get a truly unique experience right on the beach front. We even had one day of bad weather and that didn’t detract from the experience. The location is perfect, right next to the pier, on the quieter end of Sairee Beach so it felt remote, which we preferred but still with some nice restaurants and bars nearby and within walking distance of livelier areas. What really makes the stay is Danny, the host. He offered so many good recommendations throughout the stay, including help with the onsite BBQ (even if the weather eventually stopped us). He was always available to book things for us or to provide a variety of restaurants for all types of food. I’d also recommend a sandwich from his bar, fantastic Vietnamese baguettes. A great stay and would highly recommend if visiting Koh Tao! Thanks very much Danny!

Wassana and Khai are the most caring, wonderful hosts you can possibly ask for, ready to help for whatever need you might have. You can book tours and trips with them and it’s all taken care for. Wassana is an amazing cook and lovely person, ready to share life experiences as well other than food. Staying has really felt like home and being with family.

We were greeted warmly and spent our first evening teaching and playing "Mau Mau" - Uno but with a regular card game. We extended our stay as we found it peaceful, quiet, beautiful and very chill. They also have a Bar where you could spend the evening:) If you have a scooter you can get everywhere within 10 minutes!
