It was a wonderful stopping point on our way from 29 Palms to Vegas and provided a wonderful set up point for us to go to the Grand Canyon to catch the sunset. There was free entry to Bedrock which was so fun! Kitschy and some wonderful photo ops. We arrived on the weekend which meant that we weren’t able to see the birds of flight demonstration, we were however able to see them in their cages ❤️ and they were gorgeous. We stayed up late on the night of our stay, it was quiet and a wonderful chance to talk and play card games. On the morning of departure there was a big line for the bathroom/showers which was a hold up. We were unable to sleep further than 7.30am because of the heat in the tent but can be expected when there is a heat wave.

We saw rabbits and heard coyotes during the night.:)

The complimentary pancakes and coffee each morning were an excellent bonus! Very family friendly with plenty of facilities for cooking. Each tent has its own fire pit, grill and seating area to watch the sunset. There is also a communal fire pit and lots of large bbq grills that you can use and get involved in the smores roasting. The beds are really comfortable and warm-we stayed in February with 2 small children (3 and 5 years old) and it was perfect.
