The luxury tents have a deck with private plunge pool and views of the surrounding bush. They come with thatched roofs and wooden floors, as well as a fireplace and minibar. We had three fantastic days at Amakhala Game Reserve, Bush Lodge. The tents were very comfortable and the food very good. The game drives were amazing. Our game driver Jono did a super job. very enthusiastic, very knowledgeable information given during the drives and he was fantastic at spotting the animals and very dedicated to making sure we saw as much and varied as possible.

Offering an intimate Big 5 safari experience, Quatermain's 1920's Safari Camp features a boma bonfire and BBQ facilities. It is located in the Amakhala Game Reserve.

All meals and beverages are provided by Quatermain's Safari Camp in the communal boma bonfire area. Also available are Big 5 safaris, guided bush walks and bird watching. The whole experience was great. Wish we could have stayed more.

Bukela Lodge is one of our favourite lodges The facilities are excellent, food is first class and staff are wonderful. JJ our ranger was a wealth of information, with great game drives. Great selection of wildlife We got to see our first black rino's complete with horns

I was late for breakfast, food was almost finished. I enjoyed their fresh fruits and fresh orange juice.

Loved the tea and coffee bar! Warm baths and lovely shower heads.

Mountain views are a highlight at the luxury tent's pool. Beautiful spot and comfortable sleep. Well equipped kitchen and all amenities for a good braai. Loved the place. Very nice people to help out.
