Situated within the Amakhala Game Reserve, Safari Lodge - Amakhala Game Reserve is a thatched lodge offering an outdoor swimming pool, garden and sun terrace. The Port Elizabeth Airport is 88 km away.... We had a great time at the Safari Lodge. Food was great, staff was super friendly and always helpful, wonderful reserve and awesome ranger. Highly recommend it!

Located in the heart of the Amakhala Game Reserve, Woodbury Tented Camp offers an authentic outdoor experience in safari tents. The camp overlooks the ancient floodplain of the Bushmans River. The location, the beautiful well equipped tent, the food and, most of all, the staff, especially our incredible guide Lenny who was so knowledgeable and really made our stay first class. He even managed to spot the elusive black rhino! The waterhole in front of the dining area is amazing and we saw warthogs and lions drinking there-mind blowing. We didn't want to leave this paradise on earth!

The conservation of animals is their love and focus. The lodge was clean and beautiful. The service was outstanding. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I can’t fault anything.

Offering an intimate Big 5 safari experience, Quatermain's 1920's Safari Camp features a boma bonfire and BBQ facilities. It is located in the Amakhala Game Reserve. It’s so remote and disconnected - felt like we truly got away! Everything was beautiful! The stars in the hot tub were absolutely incredible!
