We had an elephant, hyenas, monkeys, bushbucks, and impala on the property in the short 2 days we were there. Staff was so friendly and helpful, there is an armed guard onsite at all times for protection. The staff clean the room and set up for dinner each night. The bed was super comfortable and they provided wonderful little touches like chocolates and a card with a traditional African folk tale each day. It’s also in a great location between two of the larger camps (Skukuza and Lower Sabie) which is also a hotspot for animals (lions, elephants etc). I can’t say enough good things about this place. Wish I could live there!

The hospitality including all service workers, guides, and chefs were superb. The guides were extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

All! It was a wonderful stay! The better that I had for sure. All was perfect, the staff was great, they organised the birthday of my daughter with cake and songs, and was always very pleasant and nice. The safari was also extraordinairy, we saw the big 5 in 1 day (2 safaris), our guide Satice, was friendly and professional. And to finish, tents are very comfortable.

Situated in Manyeleti Game Reserve, Buffelshoek Tented Camp offers a garden and barbecue. Sabi Sand Game Reserve is 34 km away. Free private parking is available on site. This was the most magical trip and we highly recommend Buffelshoek Tented Camp! Dudley and Lynn are so amazing in welcoming guests and making the stay absolutely amazing. The guides for the game drives are fabulous! Both Beckson and Elvis were so committed to making sure we saw all that we wanted to, even if it meant driving across the reserve! We saw the big 5 and so much more! We had shared that we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and they helped make it such an incredibly special day for us. On that evening we also had an elephant visit the camp! Wow!! This was definitely a bucket list trip for us and it far surpassed what we dreamed it was going to be!

Crocodile Bridge Safari Lodge borders directly on the Kruger National Park and is situated on the banks of the Crocodile River where wild animals are viewed directly from the lodge's accommodation,... From the minute we arrived we knew that we were in for an amazing time. The sun was just setting, the fire lit and there were two elephants strolling past the boundary fence! We stayed in both the room and tent and although the tent offers the perfect safari experience were happy with either. Both options offer comfortable, air conditioned, clean and well maintained accommodation with exceptional views from covered verandas. Breakfasts are all individually cooked and there’s the option of a packed cooler box to take if you’re on an early safari drive. Every evening we gathered for pre dinner drinks followed by shared food with new friends. Alan and Michelle are the most perfect hosts along with Keishe-Lee, Armand and Wendy who collectively make for an exceptionally memorable stay. Location wise I don’t think you could get better; within minutes of Crocodile Bridge gate, but if like us, you’re happy to just relax and take in the sights, sounds and atmosphere of ‘the bush’ then the covered decked area is the place to be, where we spent many an hour watching the hippos, buck and elephants. Little things that meant a lot to us- coffee, tea ice and filtered water available 24/7 - help yourself swimming towels - binoculars and night torch to borrow. But after all is said and done about the ‘domestics’ what is really apparent is that this place has been nurtured by Alan and Michelle who over 12 years have built and created somewhere with real soul.

Shindzela is a tented safari camp, set in a traversing area within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of the greater Kruger National Park, South Africa. Even better than we thought. The beds are super comfortable and the shower as well. It really feels luxurious, not at all like camping. The staff is amazing and the drives as well, it's clear the guides and trackers really know their stuff. Well be back again, it's an amazing place.

Experience a tented safari adventure at a ‘big 5’ reserve in the greater Kruger National Park area, where 2 en suite tented camps offer you the chance to get back to nature. Best trip of our lives. The camp is located within the Manyeleti reserve (it’s not easy to find on the gps, but is very well indicated as from the moment you arrive at the gate). We saw animals as from the moment we passed the gate : zebras on the road, elephants roaming around the swimming pool (they were there every day of our stay!). We were afraid of not seeing many animals because we came in the rain season (January) but we saw the Big 5 in 3 game drives! Devance was an excellent guide and we learned a lot about the area thanks to his broad knowledge. The food was excellent, and they even organised a special braai for New Year’s Eve.
