South AfricaExcellent location close to all the major attractions of the region and a river to swim in within walking distance. The river water is amazing and not as cold as one would expect. Amador, Matias and Karlijn (volunteer) were excellent hosts who readily share all relevant information on the region and make great recommendations. Our room was clean and comfortable. Visiting the wine farm (Cavas del Valle), the brewery (Guayacán) and the pisco farm (ABA) is a must. Valle de Elqui is a magical place.
