My friend and I had an unforgettable stay here, and it’s hard to overstate just how fantastic this place is. Let’s start with the unbeatable location: it’s just 20 meters from the sea! Yes, 20 meters. We could step out of our room and be on the shore within seconds, soaking up the stunning Red Sea views. Plus, being right in the center of Dahab means you’re surrounded by vibrant cafes, shops, and local life, making it the perfect base to explore the town. The rooms themselves are an incredible bargain. For less than the price of a hostel bunk, you get your own private room and bathroom. Clean, comfortable, and cozy—what more could you ask for? There’s also a lovely communal area where we loved hanging out, meeting fellow travelers, or just chilling with a book. The hammock was a personal favorite, and the friendly dogs on-site added a charming touch to the laid-back vibe. Breakfast deserves a special mention. The traditional Egyptian breakfast was a delightful start to the day—full of local flavors that we truly enjoyed. That said, it might not be for everyone if you’re used to something more continental, but for us, it was part of the authentic experience. Alaska Camp Hotel strikes the perfect balance between affordability, comfort, and charm. If you're visiting Dahab and want to be close to the sea, immersed in the town’s vibrant energy, and surrounded by friendly vibes without breaking the bank, this is the place to be. This is a truly magical place for the adventurous spririted. From the journey to get there, to the arrival and the accommodation. Ahmed is an amazing host who really took care of us. The snorkeling along the beach of the camp is incredible. The accommodation is in bamboo huts and is amazing cool from the sun and the beds are comfortable. This is also an eco place, that uses solar panels and has a grey water system. This is a wonderful place for an adventure, my children loved it and we can't wait to come back.

Super comfortable bed, best price for a room with double bed and private bathroom! Not luxury but perfect for one night stay. Very safe and quiet.
