We enjoyed our stay at Ilkato Woods, which is under a year old so the rooms and pool are in good condition. Also we appreciated the swimming pool was slightly heated which made a big difference to us as we find most hotel pools too cold! The staff are friendly and answered any questions we had. Our flight back to the UK wasn't until the evening and they allowed us to check out the room free of charge. We had more or less the whole hotel to ourselves during the weekdays, and then was fully booked during the weekend with locals taking advantage of the weekend. Would highly recommend.

The most beautiful stay we could imagine in Kakheti! What a hotel! So well taken-care of, such high quality (everything), the grounds, the facilities, the restaurant, the terraces, the pools, and of course, the gorgeous cottages! The food and service were superb. But more than anything, we were treated so kindly, helped so much, and it truly felt like we were in our home away from home, in Georgia. We were invited to a dinner with a local singer who sang amazingly, both Georgian and non-Georgian songs, and the whole atmosphere was simply magical. As if we were taken-in, and part of Georgian culture and society, and could enjoy it that much more, than as mere tourists. Our stay was truly memorable, and we are so grateful to our kind hosts at Serodani. Will recommend to all, and we will be back!
