Staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, eager to assist, excellent English. Room was simple, but extremely comfortable, with mod cons including quality aircon and fan, lots of plug points, clean, hot water, mosquito net. I'm a foodie -- food was exceptional, local Goan delights -- buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Barbecue on one evening was also good (I'm going to try pineapple on the braai at home). I would return just for the food (handsdown beats the food at the 5* Radisson Blu Cavelossim Beach hotel where I stayed the following nights). Activities were also fun; superb morning birding (including 3 species of hornbill), rain forest waterfall hike was fun, great sightings on the night "safari" (including Goan buffalo, palm civet, porcupines, flying squirrel, hares, nightjars), and night herping also fun and fascinating to see the little things (crabs, scorpions, bioluminescent fungi) -- would recommend, unless squeamish about snakes/spiders! Suggestions: My package just included room, breakfasts, morning birding walks, and afternoon plantation tour. I would recommend package with all activities and meals included. All excellent value for money. Highly highly recommend for birders, naturalists, foodies, or just people who want a quiet escape.

The campground has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. Location is amazing, Nitin is super friendly and helpful and it’s quiet, peaceful and no loud music playing. Great value for money!
