The location was good and the actual room was small but very clean.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful location. Our room was a short walking distance from the main part of the hotel and it was easy to get around in the old town. Our room was not very big but we knew that and were pleased with it, the view was amazing. The room was also very clean.

Stayed in one of the cave rooms. The ambiance is unique, and it’s a very special experience. Very clean, staff super helpful and professional. Tasty and generous continental breakfast (you have to preorder). The hotel is in the old part of town and within walking distance to most attractions (as long as you don’t mind stairs, but that’s how all of Matera is).

The property was very clean, had a boutique feel yet still had it’s character, it felt like we were in a chic cave. Great location, walking distance from everything. Sara and Gianvito were amazing, such lovely people

Very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated house, in quite corner of Matera few minutes walking from the Sassi. Free parking available just outside the door.

The host is exceptional, very helpful by handing us all the essential information about Matera. Very clean property it was impeccable. Very spacious too. We recommend this property to everybody!

Friendly family run establishment. My room was in hotel annexe. Very clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast and lunch. Evening meal less so. Very close to beach. Transport available to and from station. It does help if you can speak Italian.
