Absolutely fascinating location with an amazing view over Florence. There is a restaurant and a small convenience store next to the pool on site, so one can have a really nice pizza arriving late in the dark. The camping pitches are very well shaded with trees and it looks like there is sufficient space between the pitches. Mobile home was clean, cosy and equipped with everything one needs with a lovely porch. There is a shuttle to the center of the village and from there one can get public transport, so in a total of an hour one can be in the centre. Staff was super kind and helpful as we got confused on the way to Bologna thinking we are entering a ZTR zone and called them to return but they explained over the phone it is a new zone restricting old vehicles saving us a big hassle. Would certainly return if i get the chance.

Set in the countryside 6 km south of Florence, hu Firenze Certosa camping in town offers a restaurant and a summer outdoor pool. Impruneta is a 10-minute drive away. The unit was divided into two bedrooms with two showers and toilets and in the middle a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. The car park was next to the unit. The campsite is about 20-minutes drive from Florence and the staff directed us to a convenient parking lot close to the city center.

We really enjoyed how welcoming the host was, the campground was very clean, well lit, bathroom facilities were plentyful. They hosted a wine truck each night with music and wine. Great experience.
