What made our stay even more special was Mr. Thilina, the heart and soul of the property. His hospitality was unmatched he treated us like family and ensured we were comfortable and happy every moment. His knowledge about the area and his passion for preserving nature are truly admirable. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast served each morning. It was fresh, local, and perfectly prepared. It was really interesting experience, but at the booking.com is written it’s about 1,7 km to the center of city, but in reality we were 5 km from city. The owner picked us up by jeep at the evening but than he was trying to convinced us to go for safari with him next day, otherwise we have to walk back throw the forest where was possibility to meet wild elephant. We were scared but on the end at the morning he offered us to take us to the city. But it’s just more far away than it’s written.
