It's hard to describe how powerful my time at Brahim's camp was. From the moment we got there, we felt welcomed like we were a part of the family. The location is incredible - in your backyard, you have the most beautiful sand dunes as far as the eye can see. I have never experienced silence like this. Muhammad would cook amazing breakfast and dinner for us every evening, and he was such a joy to be around - we'd always be laughing over something. Salah is an incredibly talented musician and every evening we'd gather around the fire and listen to the beautiful songs he'd play on his guitar and drums. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and when we kept extending our stay, they made sure we had everything we needed. Brahim became a close friend of ours during our time there. He helped us see the desert through his eyes - we went on a picnic, saw ostriches in their natural habitat, and even had an overnight stay in the nearby dunes and slept under the stars. He told us stories of his journey, and how the desert and nomadic life has shaped his experiences and thought processes. We were truly inspired by him and his presence. He felt like a brother that made sure we were always safe, had everything we needed, and could have long deep discussions while watching shooting stars. I stayed here for a total of 10 nights, and I know I will return here again, and hopefully with my family and friends. This place is truly a special experience, and I feel transformed from being there.

Gite Amoudou ligger i Ouarzazate, 26 km fra Amridil-fæstningen, og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi og adgang til have med en terrasse. Mahfoud gave us a very warm welcome. We were cycling in the Atlas Mountains on our way to Marrakech via the Atlas Mountain Race route. He immediately made us a huge meal (his mother does the cooking – it's a family business), and it was the best Tagine so far on our trip. After dinner, he sat with us and we exchanged information about our nationalities and traditions. A very interesting conversation, I hope for both of us. A great sleepover for bikepackers. Sahara Sunset Camp M'hamid ligger i Mhamid og har gratis wi-fi. Gæsterne kan nyde godt af en have, en terrasse og en restaurant. This was an amazing experience! The tour started with the camel ride through the dunes, watching the sunset on a peak, and then moved on to campsite. The food was great. Since we travelled in December the night was very cold, but the blankets were warm. Just be prepared to bring some warm hats. Thank you very much much Said:)
