Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Mwandi View is set in Kavimba on the banks of the Chobe River, 18 km from Chobe National Park. Some units include a dining area and/or patio. We enjoyed our stay in the family unit! This is a "glamping" experience and we thought it was a good balance of comfort, hospitality and rustic location. Amelia was very helpful and flexible in constructing our itinerary to Chobe and Savuti. Our guide/driver Lucky was amazing, ask for him by name. Meals were tasty and varied. Another highlight is the water trough right outside the dining veranda, which attracts hippos and other animals nightly. Overall, highly recommended!

Offering an outdoor pool and sun terrace, Mukolo Cabins & Camping is a safari camp offering self-catering accommodation located in Kongola. Namushsha Heritage Centre is 13 km away. We liked everything - didn't know we were in a tent!! Very rustic, with wood burning hot water system - had a great shower. Location on the banks of the Kwando River was fabulous, with Lechwe on the banks. We had a wonderful river cruise with Kennedy, who was very knowledgeable: birds, hippo, baby crocodiles and a large obstinacy of buffaloes. We also spent some time in the nearby Mudumu National Park, which was a wonderful experience. Annette and Hennie were very welcoming and gracious hosts who went out of their way to assist two older women with some disabilities. Huge thanks to them both! Thanks, too, to Shiloh.
