Iris is a sweetheart and very helpful. Just ask her anything and she'll have an answer for it! The bedrooms are very cozy and one of them looks out on the beautiful mountains. The kitchen is open but there is a heating lamp for the colder days to heat up the whole place which is very effective. There is no sink but the bathroom is only two steps away and there is a nice sink you can use there so nothing to worry about. We were fortunate enough to have the place for ourselves for the week but usually the kitchen and bathroom are shared. Everything is well furnished and there is no need to bring towels or toilet paper since Iris provides that service for you! The closest shop is a very good shop to buy food and has everything you need even fishing rods! Since there is a fridge and freezer in the room and a lot of pots and pans and plates, there is more than enough room to make food and to not worry about a nearby restaurant. There are not many possibilities for that at all here but for us that was the least of our concerns. All in all we had an amazing stay and everything was amazingly up to standard when it came to cleanliness. Iris smokes outside which keeps the house very clean and we did the same which helped us to some lovely conversations in the morning with Iris to start the day. And last but not least! The beds were amazingly comfortable!

Offering a barbecue and children's playground, Vinje Camping is located in Geiranger in the Møre og Romsdal Region. Hurtigruten Terminal Gerianger is 1.2 km away. The gorgeous place to stay in Geiranger. The terrace has fascinating views of the Geiranger fjord, we badly like it. The place is clean, has a sofa, kitchen, kitchen table, bedroom and separate bathroom. Everything looked exactly as in photos. The homemade bakery was tasty. There were two waterfalls in the camping which made a perfect background for a stay.

I will begin with Iris, the owner and the host. What a lovely lady she is. Warm, welcoming, considerate, caring, ready to share her knowledge about the immediate area as well as further afield. We felt properly at home and looked after from the moment we arrived. Iris makes your stay comfortable effortlessly. She is a lady of a house, the nicest possible, and emanates all the positive energy onto her guests. Iris is full of life and full of smile. Will engage if her guests prefer and will remain in the background if that is what they want. Now onto the property. The location near the fjord is absolutely exceptional. Despite few other properties/ camp sites being there this one is different. Located on an elevated plateau, accessible with a tiny effort, rewards its guests with views of an exceptional quality which no photos can do justice. One simply has to visit and take the experience with them. The mountains, painted by the sun rays, which surround the fjord made us want to go out and breathe, all that power of nature, in. Regrettably, we only stayed there for two nights so to return is our dream. As, it was and will be, of many visitors, I am sure.

Located in Åndalsnes, Trollstigen Resort has accommodation 35 km from Kylling Bridge and Vermafossen waterfall. Free WiFi is provided. Some units also have a kitchen equipped with an oven. It's a good place for one or two night

Great location, right on the water, nice quiet town. We rented a cabin with private kitchen and bathroom, listed for 6 people, although, it could accommodare at least 8. Cabin has everything one may need - great kitchen area, fully equipped, good living room area and a great terrace. There are a few grocery stores close by, which was very convenient

This is a perfect home base for exploring Trollheimen. The cabin my mom and I stayed in was just perfect for us. I also loved the way the cabins are set so you have a beautiful view of the fjord and really can’t even see your neighbors. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening.
