We cannot recommend this cabin enough- it’s in the most idyllic setting by a river. It is excellently equipped with- we cooked a full roast dinner for New Year’s Day. It’s cosy and warm. We stayed in polar winter and saw the aurora every night - even from the decking. We built campfires with the kids with cheap wood bought from the owner and had them in one of their fire pits. We went on excursions to see reindeer, go snow shoe walking (self hired with maps at Skibotn hotel) , went on a snowmobile trip and a dog sled trip. All these trips happen in Skibotn valley - many people travel daily from Tromsø here to do these activities - staying here meant we could spend more time enjoying ourselves rather than travelling Absolutely 5 star experience which I would recommend

We had amazing views of the Northern lights both nights and felt like we had our own little private retreat. I would stay here again without a doubt. The owner plowed the snow and shoveled the walk multiple times a day and was very friendly. The cabin is small but has everything you need to feel warm and cozy. I would definitely recommend to couples or small families. The pictures don't do the view justice, it is simply amazing.

This camp was quite nice. The cleaningles of this place is on a very high level. Definitely most well maintained washing machine and dryer from all of the camps we experienced yet. Everything in there even smells nice. We have stayed in cabin with a beautiful lake view. Cabin was spacious, very clean and comfortable, without running water, but that was no problem as all the facilities were near to it. It was really nice to sit on the terrace while watching the sunset. Parking space for our car, right in front of the cabin, was perfect. Shared toilets, showers, and kitchen were in great condition, well equipped, and, again, very clean. However, camp is located next to the main road, without hiking options, but as a 1-night stand is more than satisfying. The lady on reception was really nice, helpful, and really caring. We were also able to charge our car, which was more than welcomed.

We stayed one night, we were a group of friends with a dog. In the house there was everything we needed for our stay (linen, towels, soap, toilet paper, kitchen equipment, etc). It would be a good place even for a longer stay. The location is beautiful, close to many nice hikes and paths, close enough to the airport, to the polar park, ... We recommend it.
