Everything! It's the best hostel I have ever stayed in Tokyo so far. - I was a little afraid at first because the room I got is a mixed dormitory (snoring, etc.). But turns out it was really quite and everybody was so considerate. Shower and toilets are clean. The staff cleaned it quite frequently. - I like the fact that you can also store luggage under your bed!

Location is great, it's just by the metro station. Bed is comfy and i loved the fact there is laundry machine and a dryer there (additionally paid but cheap). They change your pajama and towels every day (yes, you are provided your own pajamas)

I loved everything! You feel so taken care of. When you arrive, you can grab a hairbrush, a toothbrush and toothpaste, a towel for cleaning your face. Then, you get to the lockers and you have your pink yukata and towels. It feels like a girls spa, it's fun to see everything in pink. The capsules are spacious, I'm very tall and was concerned, but it was all great. The common area was great as well and I could work in a peaceful space. The hair products and face products are amazing as well, there's such a great space for you to freshen up that you wish you stayed there more. I loved my stay!

All capsule hotels in Funabashi

Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Facilities are extremely clean, comfortable beds, large locker spaces, and washing areas. Staff were super kind and helpful. Unlimited free drinks are lovely, the milk tea is really delicious 😋 men and women are on separate floors, but it is nice that this capsule hotel can accommodate both genders! The location is also wonderful, only a couple minutes walk from the station which is convenient.

The space was larger then expected and I felt there was room to move. The staff had a verbal Japanese to English translator so it was easy to communicate. They had a beer vending machine and drinks/noodles available at the front desk so you didn't need to leave once you'd checked in.
