Everything was impeccably clean (shower/toilet/capsule), staff were very nice. Great place to stay. You can’t stay between 11am-4pm, but even if you want to stay for some days that should be fine, because daytime traffic is for exploring Tokyo. But you can leave your luggage at the hotel in the meantime.

The hostel was so cool and clean. I came really late after a festival and they were patient with me and found a way to translate. Great service, cute and comfy rooms. I’d recommend for efficiency and chill out time.

I had a very good stay at this hotel. Everything was clean and well organized. The common showers and toilets facilities for men were spacious and provided enough privacy, which is not the case in some other capsule hotels. This hotel is just a minute walk away from the metro.

It was much more comfortable than I expected (very calm and peaceful environment even though there’s so many guests) and looks exactly like the pictures! Well ventilated, not cramped in the capsule and it has a nice feeling of privacy. On the last day of my stay, I left my luggage there so that I could go shopping easily, but I tripped and got a pretty bad injury. The staff was very kind and let me borrow the bathroom, gave me plasters and came to check on me a few times 🥺🥺 the plasters were too small so I had to make a makeshift one with the cotton sets provided and tape that I had, but I certainly felt very cared for even though I wasn’t going to stay there that night 🥰 They take your keys back every day which means you don’t need to worry about losing them, and you just let them know which room you were in

All capsule hotels in Funabashi

Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Facilities are extremely clean, comfortable beds, large locker spaces, and washing areas. Staff were super kind and helpful. Unlimited free drinks are lovely, the milk tea is really delicious 😋 men and women are on separate floors, but it is nice that this capsule hotel can accommodate both genders! The location is also wonderful, only a couple minutes walk from the station which is convenient.

The space was larger then expected and I felt there was room to move. The staff had a verbal Japanese to English translator so it was easy to communicate. They had a beer vending machine and drinks/noodles available at the front desk so you didn't need to leave once you'd checked in.
