Amazing stay in the heart of the mountains. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the host was very friendly. Loved the location, access to the garden (not fully fenced but was not an issue for us), and that they are dog friendly. The kitchen had everything you might need.

The location was amazing with the most incredible views of Hallstatt, the Alps and the glacier. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, providing ice packs for our daughter who hurt her foot earlier in our trip. Breakfast was very good. Meeting the friendly roaming sheep was a bonus. The cable car ride up was also beautiful. It can get a bit crowded during busy times, but on the way down the next morning, we almost had the whole car to ourselves.

Free WiFi, an indoor swimming pool, a steam bath, and a sauna is provided at Dormio Resort Obertraun, 300 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt.

Beautifully situated resort with top accomodations, indoor pool with jacuzzi, small store on site for most of your needs. Restaurant open 7 days a week with reasonable prices including Bar. Hallstatt is only 7 min away by car. All in all, a great place to relax and go sightseeing. No doubt that during the winter its even more stunning with ski lift basicly in the back yard. Will be returning here for sure.

Fantastic area for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Endless silence at night and the view in the morning is breathtaking. The very clean little apartment is perfect for two people, but four can also be comfortably accommodated with the extra bed that can be folded down in the living room. The equipment is retro, so it is not sensitive. After a whole day's trip, you can let yourself go in a very homey way, sunbathing on the large terrace and waiting for the sunset

The apartment is new, spacious and practically furnished in a beautiful, quiet area. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The large and sunny terrace with a view of the mountains and the garage, where you could leave your car, skis and boots were usefull. It's a pity that during our stay there was no snow in Gröbming, because there are cross-country skiing trails nearby. There were several hiking trails around, lots of possibilities for trips. The Schladming ski resort can be reached by car in 10 minutes. We especially recommend going ice skating at Putterersee :)
