Restaurant across the street had great food, including options for food allergies (dairy and gluten). Bathroom was sparkling clean. From check-in to check out, we were treated with kindness and respect. Any issues were quickly addressed by the caretakers. Tony and his family showed what Cape Breton hospitality is renowned for. The prices were fair for such a beautiful little hideaway. We checked in after getting married (still in our wedding attire) and when we returned to our cabin later that evening, we found a bottle of wine and a note of congratulations on the table in our room - so thoughtful!! The cabins were cute and we loved that each cabin had designated parking right next to it. The space on the porche was comfortable and useful for sitting outside. The cabin was clean and neat, and what they said would be supplied was there, and replenished on a daily basis. The staff was quick to help us out when we locked ourselves out of the cabin at 7:30 in the morning. : ), and the next day when we lost power.
