The location and the views. Best hotel window view I've ever experienced in Canada. Manager was friendly and knowledgeable. He offered tips for local day hikes. The Starlink wifi was mind blowing. Surrounded by mountains and wilderness and able to stream movies. I didn't expect any internet and didn't stay there to be online, just the opposite. There was no TV in the room which I liked. Amenities very basic which was also expected. Room was cozy and clean. The room is large and gave a feeling of staying at a relatives guest cabin. Will make this little gem a waypoint stop on my western Canada travels.

The lodge is so homely and welcoming. The staff (and cat) made us feel right at home and it’s set in a stunning location. The room was great and the communal area was lovely. Breakfast was great too and I loved the hummingbirds!

This cottage has one of the most beautiful views we have ever had; from our veranda we looked out on a spacious and well-maintained garden with the Rocky Mountains beyond, wow! The cottage is rustic in style, very well maintained and cared for, and very clean. Comfortable furniture! Lovely fire pit! The owners are helpful and very friendly (we had a nice chat with them), and go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. The surroundings are stunning, and the location is perfect as a base for various trips. Do hike to Kinney Lake (part of the Berg trail); it is beautiful! Thank you Elke and Jurgen for letting us be your guests!

    Place is amazing. Furnished nicely and set up so well. Very close to town and the bike park. We enjoyed the layout of the place. Rooms are separate from the kitchen/living area and able to close doors (unlike some other cabins in the area that have a VERY open concept.) Beds were comfortable. They had a lot of utensils and other stuff for cooking. Highly recommend.
