The staff, the meals, the setting, the birdlife, the beaches, the remoteness of the location. The staff was extremely helpful in organizing trips and boat pickups to go snorkeling and to Corcovado NP. The people were very sweet and helpful. It was our favorite place we stayed in Costa Rica.

Absolutely everything! The cabaña we stayed in was very cosy and every single detail was very well thought of. The view on the woods is calming and relaxing. You’re completely immersed in nature: from the balcony we saw monkeys, toucans and agoutis. Two frogs crossed our path when going back at night. The room and the kitchen were spotless! Last but not least, Sebastián is an incredible host: friendly, available and very nice. You can tell he genuinely enjoys hosting people and sharing tips and information about this and other beautiful areas of Costa Rica.

Great location. The room has everything you need, including a warm shower. The view was stunning, and the tree in front of the balcony is full of iguanas. We didn’t use the kitchen but it has everything you need if you want to prepare a proper meal / breakfast. We didn’t see any reviews when we booked, but we can absolutely recommend this place if you’re looking for a stay in Drake Bay. The owner also works for a tour agency, so he can help you plan any trip.

Amazing location. It's a bit far from Drake Bay but you get an incredible view and wildlife every day. We saw 10-15 tucans every day. scarlet macaws and lots of green parrots flying arround. The room was very big and exeptionally cleaned. Very nice and helpful staff. The walk to drake bay is long but you see wildlife aswell and the taxi is 10$ if you don't want to walk.

Great place to stay - easily accessible by car. Very clean, hospitable, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and made early on request to ensure you have enough time to embark on any tours.

The accommodation is a well equipped studio in a very quiet and remote area outside of the little village Los Planes. We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace with watching and listening to many different birds. There is a good panaderia (Cielo y tierra) in Los Planes. Only 5-10 minutes by car away is gorgeous Las Caletas beach. From there you can also make a beautiful hike to Drake Bay or/and San Josecito bay which we can highly recommend. We also walked to the rainforest platform of the owner's father which was a very particular experience.

Quality food, great staff Staff did put together a lot of stuff to do for us and every thing we asked for was settled in a record time. We were there for new years eve and the tuna was to die for !!! we saw toucans and other great wildlife in our three days at the property Thanks Roy for putting up with us !
