We had a wonderful time at Maze Lodge in the middle of the jungle! Sure the road is a little bumpy but nothing a 4x4 car (we had a Suzuki Jimny) can't handle...a little adventure ride for free :) We want to thank our hosts Frida and Alexander so much for hospitality and their support! Amazing 4-night stay at Lapa Rios, definitely one of the best hotels I've ever been to. The beautiful room, the view on the Pacifc ocean, the great food, the kindness and professionnalism of the staff, all the animals you can spot so close to you (monkeys, macau, toucans, frogs, etc.). The park of the hotel is a good before-taste of the almost nearby Corcovado national park not to be missed, with great guides

Spacious and comfortable room right by the beach and surrounded by a lush garden. You’ll have iguanas roaming around and lots of birds passing by. What we loved the most is the staff - Tomas and Julia make you feel so welcome!

I cannot praise the host enough. We stayed only one night before going to Corcavado. He helped us with everything, allowed to leave a car for few days, helped with laundry and went above and beyond. The place is relaxed, with a nice garden and well equipped kitchen. Recommended
